What's New in Oracle Learning Library?

If you now are like "Oracle Learning Library? What's this?" then please add a bookmark (to your browser and your gray matter) to it immediately.

Recently, Oracle Learning Library (OLL) has undergone some UI changes. I believe this is an effort to make it usable also on tablets but I might be wrong with that.

More than just applying cosmetic changes, the good people at Oracle keep adding valuable content to OLL. Quite recently, the Siebel section has been replenished with TOIs (Transfer Of Information, a presentation format with audio) on Siebel 8.1.1.9, including presentations on Open UI, Siebel Mobile Applications and the new Calendar functionality (driven by Open UI).

In addition you will find a new TOI on installing Siebel 8.1.1.8 and higher with Oracle's very own Universal Installer.

You can find the the new Siebel TOIs here. All you need to enjoy them is a free oracle.com account.

have a nice day

Hi @lex and thanks for the excellent post!

I have not come across OLL before and I now see that it's a brilliant source of information. I was moaning to myself the other day about how expensive Oracle University courses are, if you're an independent consultant like myself, and how inflexible the current courses were with regards to self learning.

OLL looks to open up a whole host of options for people like me to learn about new and existing Oracle techologies at our own pace.

Once again, thank you for sharing!
